A step towards volunteering

I got in contact with Ms. Gooden yesterday and have sent her my volunteer application. She replied to me and informed me that I would have to go through orientation first. She also told me about other things that I need to do to get started. I have freed up my Friday afternoons so that I may have some more time to volunteer. Ms. Gooden recommended that I work at Northwest Health Center since it is close to my home and also stays open until 9 at night. This gives me more opportunities to volunteer. I am waiting for her to contact me so that I can get started. I still don't know what I will be doing, so many possibilities are running through my head. Can't wait to start.
